Patricia Martin and her partner on the project, F.M. Edison, helped to launch my new venture, Cameron-Zemtsov Design Associates.  The company designs and makes the world’s most luxurious wine bottle stoppers and whiskey/brandy decanter stoppers that are based on deco-gothic wildlife motifs and are targeted to an ultra wealthy audience. In addition to developing the roll-out strategy, writing all press/collateral materials, and negotiating a joint promotional arrangement with Born Free USA, their efforts got us press in a number of online luxury blogs, and ink in The Robb Report!

I happened into Patricia’s “SpeakEasy” in April 2017, a monthly spoken word series.  I sat with friends and listened as she opened the program with her own original poetry, then introduced the featured reader before turning the microphone over to the rest of us. I had heard some of these same poets at other events, but something about Patricia’s event brought out that extra ounce of emotion in the exact same poetry. It was Patricia herself: her enthusiasm, her dramatic flair, the passion in her original poetry, her absolute love of what she was doing, inspired the other poets to do better than their best.
